Pact’s new computerised client management system went live on January 1.

The system allows staff to do away with paper-based client notes and enter everything on the computer system. It also allows managers to create reports quickly.

Project manager Dita Ciulacu says she was amazed at how smoothly the implementation went.

“I am sure there was some nervousness about it... but that disappeared seconds later when the system welcomed the staff and did what was supposed to do.”

Dita says the feedback has been “overwhelmingly positive.”

“I knew it would be easy to use, I knew it would save time - but you are never sure until you get the users’ feedback.”

The next challenge is to name the system. It is called by many things (Sage CRM, client management system, client database, Pact staff portal), which can become confusing. Staff will be asked what to call the system and will be in to win a prize.
