Pact received another Tertiary Level Pass from an audit on our Workplace Safety Management Practices Programme in early February.

Pact joined the programme in June 2000,with the first audit being April 2001. Pact achieved a Secondary Level Pass, and every two years since then, on repeat audits, we have received a Tertiary Level Pass.

This means Pact has some of the best systems and practices in place and receives a 20% discount off employee premiums.

The audit covered areas such as safety management practices; hazard identification, assessment and management; information, training and supervision; incident and injury reporting, recording and investigation; employee participation in health and safety management; emergency planning and readiness; protection of employees from on-site work undertaken by contractors and sub-contractors; workplace observation; and focus groups.
